The Abbott Family history

When My Mother died in 2009, I decided to take up the role of researching the family history. I had no idea just what that involved!

I have wanted to put online the Abbott family history for some time.

Have you ever researched your own family? You would be surprised what it involves and just what it turns up.

My mother's maiden name was Sellwood. So where do I stop including her family?

Then there is my own wife Suzanna. She was a Mandl and her father was married to a Clifford. Do you get my point?

It mushrooms fast!

So The project I thought was going to take a few months has now taken two years and I have hardly scratched the surface.

The website has a gallery with over 12,000 pictures in it and more to go up.  It is not available to the public yet as I am having trouble with setting the security on parts of it (another project!).

I hope to have at least a beginning for these pages by this summer. But don't hold your breath! lol
